Charley Harper’s 48 Piece Floor Puzzle - Wildlife Wonders
Charley Harper (American, 1922-2007) loved animals and nature, but he was quick to remind folks that he was an artist, not a naturalist: “I think flat, simple, and funny.” With the cheeky tail end of a deer or the dangling foot of a droll little mouse, his artwork makes viewers smile. In a style he called “minimal realism,” Harper used geometric shapes, patterns, and vivid colors to bring out the personality of each critter he painted.
This puzzle has 48 large pieces, each of which measures about 5 x 5 in.
The finished puzzle measures 36 x 24 in (91.4 x 61 cm).
